The Marine Forum

Welcome to the South African Marine Forum.

The Marine Forum is an annual gathering of local Insurers & Reinsurer's together with a number of friends who have presented at the Forum over the years. These friends are brokers, surveyors, attorneys & the like.

 

The Forum is held on the first Friday and Saturday in May each year at a venue usually within two hour's driving distance from Johannesburg.

​

The 30th Forum was held in 2015 and attracted approximately 140 delegates.

The organizing committee consists of volunteers who give up their time to make this annual event such a success.

The liaison with the different venues is ably handled by Lynne Cormack at Lynn & Associates who can also assist in arranging trips in addition to their time assisting at the Forum.

A special mention should also go to the Munich Re who assist with administration, a thankless task, and have been a massive supporter since the Forum’s inception in 1985.
